Some people discover their purpose early in life. Mine was found through change, sacrifice, and the courage to begin again.
As a child, I was fascinated by beauty, creativity, and the way art could change how people feel. That passion led me to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design. I believed I had found my dream career, but life had another plan. Health challenges forced me to leave behind the future I had imagined.
Rather than giving up, I chose to embrace a new adventure and became a flight attendant. Flying around the world allowed me to experience different cultures, meet incredible people, and grow in ways I never expected. Yet despite all the excitement, I felt something was still missing.
I wasn’t searching for another job. I was searching for my purpose. In 2018, I discovered Permanent Makeup.
What began as a single Microblading course became the beginning of a completely new life. I quickly realized that beauty was far more than creating beautiful eyebrows. It was about helping people regain confidence, express themselves, and feel beautiful in their own skin. That realization changed everything.
The beauty industry gave me more than a career—it gave me hope, independence, and a future. It allowed me to support my parents, build a new life in the United States, and prove to myself that dreams can become reality through faith, discipline, and relentless hard work.
I chose not to spend my earnings on luxury. Instead, I invested in education, mastered new techniques, and saved every dollar with one vision in mind. To build something that would outlive me. In 2021, that vision became Fortune Lash & Brow.
People often ask why I chose the word Fortune. Because I have always believed that beauty is connected to confidence.
When beautifully designed eyebrows and customized lash extensions are created in harmony with someone’s natural facial features, they don’t simply transform a face. They transform how a person sees themselves. Confidence changes posture. Confidence changes energy. Confidence changes opportunities. Sometimes, confidence changes an entire life.
That is the true meaning of Fortune. Not luck. But the confidence we create for ourselves through self-care, growth, and believing we deserve something better.
Every client who walks through our doors carries a story. Some are celebrating new beginnings. Some are rebuilding after heartbreak. Some simply want to feel like themselves again. Our responsibility is greater than providing beauty services.

As an educator, my mission extends beyond creating beautiful results. I am passionate about mentoring the next generation of beauty professionals—not only teaching technical skills but also helping them develop confidence, leadership, business knowledge, and the mindset needed to build meaningful, successful careers.
Looking back on the past eight years, I realize every obstacle prepared me for this mission. Every setback strengthened my resilience. Every challenge deepened my compassion. Every success reminded me to remain grateful.
This journey has never been about becoming the best artist. It has always been about becoming someone who helps others discover the best version of themselves. This is the heart of Fortune. This is my purpose. And this is only the beginning.
